  •  Put an alert on the front door that informs emergency responders where to find your medical information. There may be a "File Of Life" program in your area which offers decals for your front door to alert emergency personnel to look on the refrigerator for a magnetic red plastic case containing the file.   • If you do not want to be resuscitated, put this information in the File of Life in bold lettering. Include a copy of your DNR and other advance directives. If you are bedridden, consider including a sign above your bed not to resuscitate.
