  • Children of this age need physical touch, routine and a stable emotional enviornment. 
  • They may react by trashing things, rocking or throwing things, crying, sucking or biting. They may also display sleeplessness or indigestion. 
  • Provide ongoing physical touch.
  • Maintain the child's routine - even if someone has to take over for you.
  • Be patient.
