Exercise To Speed Recovery Of Urinary Control
1/1
To speed recovery of urinary control:
- Stand up at a toilet bowl or other place where you can urinate. (The exercise does not work sitting down)
- Start your urine stream.
- Once the stream is going in full force, stop it by contracting the muscles in your butt. Imagine you are trying to hold a quarter between your cheeks. (Do not contract your abdominal muscles or the muscle in front around the penis).
- Hold your urine back for 5 or 10 seconds.
- Repeat as many times as you can.
- Only perform these exercises when you are urinating. Do not keep contracting these muscles throughout the day.
